RGA Recipe Editor
The Recipe Editor assists in the task of setting up the recipe for use by In Situ Host with the DDE information from the RGA. Built in functions include:
Persistence for two Definitions of Alarm: this function allows the requirement that an alarm condition be maintained for a given number of samples before an alarm is activated.
Pressure Excursion Filter: this function removes data that is not trustworthy because of a large, sudden change in pressure. An example would be a loadlock door opening into the buffer chamber, causing an anomalous response from the RGA mounted on the degas reactor. For example, a setting of 1.5 will set a limit of 50%. A pressure excursion greater than 50% will cause the data point(s) to be filtered. This function can significantly reduce the distortion caused by pressure excursions and the resulting false alarms.
Alarm Evaluator: evaluates the alarm condition set by formula, the persistence setting, and the pressure excursion filter setting. The data points that would result in a given alarm are highlighted.
Recipe Library: a library of standard recipes, and recipes you create, is maintained.
Using the Recipe Editor is easy if you can use Excel. With the built in functions designed for this application and the standard Excel functions, a full rich process monitoring capability is available.
